In case the game ever becomes boring, here are a few ideas about how enhancing the already rich variety of this game.
This year 2004-game is quite old now and has its lot of flaws, and it came to bore me several years ago (with v1.03.23, but version is clearly not the point here), and I didn't think about exploring all the diversity it may allow, as a solo player. To be frank, I didn't try and play against seven allied Emperor AI, I couldn't win and it's not this kind of incentive I needed (Even now, I keep using the pause key, just to say that the true challenge of RTS is not the kind of thrill I look for). What bored me is rather the AI keeping on sending troops on the same attack path only to be eaten by a mischievous towers and walls tr…Read more >
V1.03.25 changed a lot of things (just have a look at the changelog) but in game documentation was not so updated. See also the Bugs section on the wiki for the old bugs that weren't corrected with v1.03.25.

With the release of The Protectors 0.8.6, I'm going to try and spend some more time here before focusing heavily on 0.8.7. As such, I have finally got around to working on the much-needed-improving Game Mechanics page!
The old articles on there will remain until the new ones take their place in their own pages.Read more >

As you have probably seen, I have now split buildings with multiple levels across the tiers they become available. The only exception to this are the main keeps. I'm still toying with what I plan to do with them, as I don't want them split across the tiers for two reasons. The first one is that there's barely nothing you can say about later levels of a keep which wouldn't have already been said during the first level. Secondly, the keeps are what make and define the tiers, so I wouldn't want to see them listed under the tier they created, not to mention that it would look as if they only become available after the tier was created.
I'm likely to duplicate the keeps' main information boxes and have them all underneath each other, with the ma…Read more >
Updated all units in the game to state their size / alignment / race info. Interestingly, not all units are what you would expect.
For example, Gnolls are actually tagged as being Orcs. All Titans, except for the ones introduced in WBC3, are all tagged as being monsters. Wisps don't have a race tag, but Ancient Wisps are considered monsters. Dwarves (including the Dark Dwarf Engineer) are only seen as neutral. All Barbarian infantry are treated as being good units. The Elven Hunter is tagged as being a High Elven unit, despite appearing only in the Wood Elven army. Lightning Hawks are the only good aligned flier. The Red and Black Mages are neutral, whereas the White Mage (and the rest of the Humans outside of the Plaguelords) are tagged as…Read more >
I've just gone around and added the maximum Mana amounts to all units, as well as the Mana amount they start with after production. These have been added to the first stats box in each unit entry. (I chose the first box as that seems more focused on values, where as the second is more focused towards traits and production details.) There is also a slight gap separating the Mana details from the rest of the stats, indicating that these values aren't normally present.Read more >

Sorry for not helping very much with the Wiki lately, I have been and still am currently quite busy at the moment. As the time comes closer to Christmas I imagine I'm only going to be more engaged with other stuff. Hopefully I'll be able to add to some more race pages by then :).

The Warlords Battlecry Wiki has been improved immensely for the first time in many years. Nearly everything was missing or incomplete back in June. I've waited in the line for adoptions following a lack of response from ESPee. Unfortunately, the creators and first of the members seem to have given up on this site. After the wait, I've managed to gain adminship, and since then have changed the theme of the Wiki. My purpose of the current design was in reflection to the Warlords Battlecry 3 UI.
A great deal of my current involvement has been in the organisation of the Wiki, and improvements of many of its current features (like mouseover text for the Heroes section). Although a lot of the highly subjective, incorrect or missing material has b…Read more >
