Pegasi are advanced melee fliers. The Pegasus takes the stats of the Griffon but trades power for speed. It also has a better attack type - crushing - which can completely turn the tide of a fight with an untimely critical hit, usually resulting in the enemy retreating. Because of this, the Pegasus's newly found speed is put to good measure by chasing down those fleeing units and getting the final strike needed to fell the enemy. Pegasi may have slightly lower offensive stats than Griffons, but they're sure to cause more of a headache for your enemy!

FactionsEdit

BarbariansEdit

Produced from: Nest (level 2 or 3)
Requires: none
Cost: 100 Gold, 100 Crystal
Build Time: 60
Setup Points: 4
Army Points: 2

Pegasi may not have the best stats for an advanced flier, but the key to their power lies within their speed and attack type. With the possibility to stun a target, rendering them all but useless, and with such great speed to catch any stunned targets hoping to flee, with a little luck, a flock of Pegasi can take on practically any threat. Therefore it only gets better once you add in the Corral's researches that furthers their speed and likelihood of scouring critical hits, making their true power all that more effective. Their ability to hit aerial targets is a great asset to the Barbarian race, who would otherwise be hopeless against certain aerial threats, namely Daemons, Archons and even Dragons wont last long before they become the nest pair of Scale Boots on the market.

Benefits from Training, Eagle Eye, Horsemaster, Horse Lord, Rearing, Trampling, Magical Tattoos, and Bloodlust researches.

High ElvesEdit

Produced from: Nest (level 2 or 3)
Requires: none
Cost: 100 Gold, 100 Crystal
Build Time: 60
Setup Points: 4
Army Points: 2
It is said in Etheria lore that when Lord Bane's Undead army marches down south from the Realm of Death, it is left to the High Elves to push his force back. But with almost all of the Undead units being resistant to the majority of the High Elven weaponry, one would wonder how the High Elves are actually meant to stand up to the Undead. One way is to freeze them on the spot. However, the Pegasus certainly helps making the lore a reality. Its crushing type damage is not only un-resisted by the Undead but most are actually weak to it! But with its high flying speed and lucky critical effects, any foe can find themselves hard pressed by the Pegasus, making them very valuable to the High Elves, regardless of who they're fighting.

KnightsEdit

Produced from: Eyrie (level 2 or 3)
Requires: none
Cost: 100 Gold, 100 Crystal
Build Time: 60
Setup Points: 4
Army Points: 2

Pegasi are fast, deal quite a lot of damage but are more fragile than other advanced fliers. They can destroy buildings with ease thanks to their high crushing damage and if they ever get in trouble with powerful missile units, towers or other fliers, they can usually escape successfully due to their high speed stat.

Benefits from Crusade and Armorer researches.
